31 for 21: A beautiful resource for families new to the diagnosis of Down syndrome

Missy Skavlem over at Yo Mamma Mamma sent me the link to Diagnosis to Delivery: A Pregnant Mother’s Guide to Down Syndrome. My review “It is absolutely outstanding.”

Today I sent the link to every member of our team in the Thomas Center for Down Syndrome to review and share with our families and students.

In addition to expectant mom’s, this book is a must for  the following people:

  • ALL professionals working with parents of children with Down syndrome – teachers, therapists, doctors, etc.
  • Family members of an expectant mom
  • Anyone who has a person with Down syndrome in their life
  • Students training in any field that interacts with families and children with Down syndrome

If you are looking for a way to relate to families, understand what they are going/been through at diagnosis, then this book will give you an insider’s perspective.
