Swallowing and Feeding in Children with Down Syndrome – webcast from Children’s Hospital Boston

I got into work extra early today to get caught up. So of course I checked Facebook first. In my news feed FB friend and doctor extraordinaire, Brian Skotko, MD, posted a link about the Allen Crocker Lecture Series for families:

The Allen C. Crocker Lecture Series is designed for parents and families members seeking quality information from experts on a range of topics related to Down syndrome. These lectures, honoring the legacy of Dr. Crocker, can be viewed, for free, from the links in the table below.

Wow! I am so impressed at this opportunity for families (and me). The next topic on May 24 is “Swallowing and Feeding in Children with Down Syndrome” and it is simulcast online from 7-8:30 pm.

  1. Thanks you so much for this. My daughter is 4 months old and so we will be looking into this in the next 2 months so perfect timing for me. I’m in the UK and it seems we don;t get SLP until they are much older, over 1 year old, here. Is there anything i can do to help us with the weaning process.

Thanks you I find you blog very interesting
