Reaching for the STARs: Speech Therapy And Research working together

I will be traveling to San Antonio, TX this weekend for the National Down Syndrome Congress 2011 Convention. Please join me on Sunday at noon for  90 minutes devoted to speech clarity and children with Down syndrome. Discussion will include up-to-date research overviews specific to the quality of speech in children with DS, popular treatment methods (including ones that have been proven ineffective), and ideas to carry over speech skills at home.

If you see me wandering the river walk or resort halls, please stop and say, “Hello!” I’d love to meet you!
